Describing the HGTV Dream Home

today i decided to see which words were used the most to describe the HGTV Dream Home on the sweepstakes website. i wrote some simple javascript to extract the photo captions from each of the 25 galleries, which i then ran through a word frequency counter. below are the top ten:

rustic	42

so white is tied for number one. not a good look HGTV.

some other interesting things i found:

• while gray is used 71 times, grey is used only thrice. they should have kept with gray for consistency's sake
• beer is only mentioned one time
• the phrase burly beast is used at some point
• the least mentioned colors are aquamarine and beige
• the word space clocks in at a whopping 138 occurrences
